We are now pursing an interest we both share, and have had some experience with in the past!
I grew up ice skating and roller-blading and loved watching all the figure skating performances on TV - especially Michelle Kwan (and still do, along with gymnastics)! Now I get to share this love with my daughter - we are so stoked to start our Lessons this weekend! Sarah has had lessons back in Washington so, she will start on the Figure Skating Basic 2-3 Level - and I will be starting in the Adult Classes.
Even though it's still 70-80 degrees outside in southern California - we can still enjoy the 'feel' of Winter when we are in the rink! We will be attending lessons in both Ontario, CA and Riverside, CA - One of the employees at Ontario Ice Arena told me that it was owned by Michelle Kwan's Father!
I look forward to many good times together pursuing this interest as Mother and Daughter - everywhere that we go!
We have had to postpone our Thailand trip because I've ran into issues with getting Sarah's passport application approved (I figured it wouldn't be easy)..So, until we are ready to move forward with those plans - I will be bringing you along on our journey's in Southern California, and the Midwest, during the holiday's to visit family.
